Final Proposal
The Archives worked with Professor Micky Lee's Fall 2018 class Research Methods in Communication, on primary and secondary source research. Students visited the Archives, used portions of the Harry Dow and Suffolk University Records collections, and created scripts and plans for filmed documentaries. These are the resulting scripts from 6 student groups.
Course description: Students learn the research traditions in communication grounded in the humanities and social sciences. They are exposed to an array of qualitative methods, with in-depth study of select methodologies. Students learn how to read scholarly articles, write in an academic style, and design a research project.
