Pro-life Advocate
Raymond Flynn was raised in a Catholic household. This Catholic upraising resulted in his pro-life stance and criticisms of members of his own party. In 2004, he called out Senator John Kerry’s stance on abortion. This stance led him to crossed party lines and endorse Republican politicians. Ray Flynn endorsed president George W. Bush in the 2000 elections. As well, he endorsed former Republican presidential candidate and former Massachusetts’s governor, Mitt Romney in 2012 and former Massachusetts’s senator Scott Brown for his two-senate campaigns.
